For the natural born runner in each of us! If you are interested in learning how to improve your running strength and efficiency while reducing your effort, then this is the class for you. The clinic teaches you the many benefits that can be achieved by moving away from a heel/toe strike to a mid-foot strike. The course is instructed by Bruno Lafontaine, a certified kinesiologist, exercise physiologist, and elite athlete.

Clinics are held monthly on a first come-first served basis. Cost is $35/person. Clinics are offered at the Sports 4 Bank Street location from 9:45am – noon. There is a classroom style theory as well as a practical component so arrive ready to run!

Space is limited so register now to reserve your spot! For upcoming class schedule details.

Sports 4 Kanata Running Club

Beginners are especially welcome!

Join us at Sports 4 Kanata (Centrum – near LCBO) every Wednesday for a FREE group run.  The club is volunteer managed and entirely free.  Over the years the volunteer leaders have changed, but the club spirit remains the same – encouraging and enthusiastic.

Our weekly runs are guided by several residents who have many years experience in road running and multi-sport endurance events. Runners of any ability are welcome, from beginners to competitive runners of various paces and distances. The participants run with fellow runners of thier own ability level.

We leave for the run at 6:30 pm so please arrive a few minutes before. For more information, visit the Club’s website or call Sports 4 Kanata at 613-271-7597. We hope to see you this Wednesday!
